Keynote Speaker
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed is the Harry A. and Margaret D. Towsley Foundation Policymaker in Residence at the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Dr. El-Sayed previously served as a epidemiology professor at Columbia University and executive director of the Detroit Health Department and Health Officer (2015 to 2017) before running for governor of the State of Michigan. In addition, he is a political contributor at CNN, an author and podcast host.
